Three Days in a Row

It has been dynamic

Today started with a cat in the tree outside the third floor window

The cat got down

Yesterday

Began with a photo show exhibit and a plesant walk
A colleague of Antois's in another department has gained national recognition as a photographer. She concentrates on reflections. The second image from the left is below
Her imagery seems pleasant and accesabile

Like soft Jazz

The exhibit was in the Art Gallery of the Governor's palace. I include a website image to clarify
The Governor's Palace, now a museum, was the former British reisdence in the 1800s.
(Center at bottom of image - Art Gallery and garden off left wing of palace)
The Old Fort and moat is off the left edge of the image.
Antoni's boat is moored at  the jetty 1/3 down on left edge.
From the jetty to the door of the palace is the largest Esplanade in Europe. It was used as a military prade ground.
The entrance to Antonis's and Maria's home is just off the very bottom right corner.
(I made an image of that from the palace courtyard.)

Looking down from the garden you can see Sunday swimmers.
The upper left corner leads to the bottom below....
A view of the restaurant.
(more later)

Walking back through the grounds I saw a very interesting sculpture.
Carved out of marble it seemed to portay an old city scape.

I seem to luck out when I sit down to take a breather.

They looked and acted like professional models

We got permission to make an image from the Palace Courtyard
These buldings face the sea. The right one, three windows wide is on a sharp corner.
Between it and the center building is the narrow street entrance to Antoni's and Mari's home.
The center building is the Language and Translation Center for Ionian University.
The left building is privately owned. From the little white baclcony I watched the Greek Orthodox Easter Parade a few years ago.

looking down the narrow street I speak of to the restaurant I showed before.
You can see the mainland in the distance.

I close for now with an image of the new kitchen counters and Maria letting her bread rise.

Back to lecture prep...
The top of Pelekas coming soon
